Equipped with advanced position sensors and sophisticated maglev control algorithms, the FTS system offers exceptional performance. For instance, FTS-MT can achieve speeds over 5 m/s, with a maximum acceleration of 10G and repetitive positioning accuracy of ±10 μm. This level of precision boosts throughput and stability across the production line, effectively addressing potential bottlenecks.
The system also features real-time defect detection. Defective products can be directly sent to the unloading station once detected. This can promote the production efficiency while saving the production cost.
The integration of mover ID technology further enhances operational efficiency by enabling instant synchronization with external controls, allowing production to start as soon as the system powers up. Compared to RFID solutions, no mover running cycle is required for ID recognition before production.
Additionally, copper coils are utilized to generate a stronger magnetic field and greater thrust. Compared to systems with printed circuit board (PCB) coils, the copper coil design offers the motor higher power density and less heat generation.
Leveraging Digital Simulation for Smarter Manufacturing
As manufacturing processes become more complex, predicting system performance before installation is essential. The FTS system includes a 3D digital simulation tool that allows users to visualize the system’s operation in real time. This feature provides valuable data to fine-tune and optimize production setups, improving design accuracy and operational efficiency.
The FTS system also supports parallel debugging with multi-terminal, which makes the commissioning on a long transport line more convenient, and greatly reduces equipment integration time. Ensuring dual safety through reliable software control permissions and robust mechanical limits.
