The lithium battery industry is constantly changing, and battery technology is continually updating and iterating. The 46 series large cylindrical batteries have shown their brilliance with their safety performance advantages, lower manufacturing costs, and other benefits. Nowadays, their installation scale and speed are expanding and accelerating, and they will become one of the important development directions of next-generation battery technology.
On the afternoon of November 11, The Large Cylindrical Battery Industry Summit hosted by FHS Group opened on schedule by Yangcheng Lake, with the theme of “Riding the Beacon, Joining the Future”. The summit invited multiple industry experts, scholars, and related enterprises to jointly discuss the current development status, challenges, and future development direction of the large cylindrical battery industry.
The summit began with Mr. Yang Ping, Chairman and General Manager of FHS Group, delivering a welcome speech as the host, expressing gratitude to each guest for their attendance and expressing his hope that through this summit, they could have in-depth exchanges and dialogues with industry experts, scholars, and relevant enterprise leaders, strengthen cross-border cooperation and knowledge sharing, and work together to promote innovation and development in the large cylindrical battery industry, contributing to the future development of the lithium battery industry.
Dr. Yan Chenglin, the selected candidate for the National Major Leading Talents Project, as the Honorary Dean of FHS Group Research Institute, expressed his earnest expectations for establishing closer industry-university-research-application cooperation in the future during the summit theme introduction. He hoped that this summit could promote the deep integration of academic research, technological innovation, and the development of the large cylindrical battery industry from all walks of life.
Subsequently, Ms. Cao Juan, the Operations Director of FHS Group, introduced the group’s overview to the guests present. The solid data and technological strength demonstrate FHS Group’s unwavering confidence in the development path of large cylindrical batteries.
At the meeting, Gao Xiaobing, the President of the High-tech Industry Research Institute, was invited to give a speech on the market prospects of large cylindrical batteries: “Compared to square, soft pack, and previous small cylindrical batteries, the advantages of large cylindrical batteries are reflected in safety, energy density, rate, and cost. In terms of safety, large cylindrical batteries have the characteristics of thermal runaway propagation blocking, good sealing, and high product consistency, and have certain advantages over square and soft pack batteries. In terms of cost, without considering yield loss, the manufacturing cost of large cylindrical batteries is 0.07 yuan/Wh for 100 PPM and 0.04 yuan/Wh for 300 PPM. The market prospects are broad. “
“Under the trend, various battery manufacturers were laying out their own 46 series large cylindrical battery cells. However, in promoting the mass production of large cylindrical batteries, enterprises need to pay attention to the yield rate and key technologies such as welding and dry electrodes,” stated Mr. Ma Yingbao, a former senior executive of IBM’s well-known consulting expert, in a keynote speech on the current process and production path of cylindrical batteries.
Subsequently, Dr. Que Zhili and Dr. Huang Fuchang, the R&D directors of FHS Group, gave two special presentations on the current research and development achievements of the research institute: “The Road of FHS Large Cylindrical Battery Equipment Innovation” and “FHS Magnetic Suspension Products Assisting in Efficient Coordinated Transmission of Cylindrical Battery Production.”
After the speech, experts and scholars held a roundtable dialogue on the challenges and opportunities for the future of large cylindrical batteries, and the atmosphere of on-site discussions was lively.

4680 High-speed cleaning machine

Self-developed mechanism combining magnetic levitation and conventional conveyor lines
- The flexible conveying line includes a series of standardized module components such as longitudinal conveying module, transverse conveying module, curved curve, synchronous belt, chain plate, material tray, support profile, positioning and guidance.
- Users can quickly and flexibly build various required assembly conveyor lines through simple assembly combinations.
